Frequently Asked Questions

What makes our YTT different?

The training reflects PKY’s values and priorities. Please learn about us and be in community with us while considering our teacher training. Spaces are limited and being in community is important!

Our unique teacher training curriculum is organized into three parts.

  1. Yoga philosophy, practices, and culture.

  2. Hawaiian culture, history, and the social injustices that impact Native Hawaiians and marginalized communities in Hawai’i.

  3. Trauma-informed Yoga and meditation.

Additionally, we bring together an EXPERT team of yoga teachers with an array of practices and traditions, and talented kumus to share Hawaiian history, culture, and traditions.

This is about community-building, diversity, and access!
